An independently owned commercial bank based in the heart of the City is in search of a Risk and Compliance candidate to join them as they begin what is a rare and exciting project for an initial 6 month period with the potential to go perm.

The successful candidate will be expected to take a hands on role in setting up a risk management function to ensure the Bank meets its FSA liquidity requirements. You will have to have extremely good stakeholder management experience as you will be expected to deal directly with senior management, the FSA and local authority as well as occasionally communicating with its overseas HQ.

Experience working within a small bank and knowledge of market risk, credit risk and operational risk is highly advantageous.
