Description:
An interesting new role for a Credit Risk manager has arisen in this Corporate Bank. Reporting to the Risk Manager, the role will Involve going through business proposals and secondary research reports (including external rating rationales, equity reports etc), having discussions with internal corporate legal team pertaining to transaction structure and potential legal issuesKey Responsibilities include:
•Articulate key credit issues at credit committees. Disseminate key risk issues and relevant recommendations for risk mitigation through ‘rating rationales'
•Review of existing client exposures
•Check monthly/quarterly portfolio review reports
•Regular monitoring of loan against shares (LAS) portfolio
•Revert to the corporate business group with queries on the proposal note within 2 working days
•Fielding queries from internal and external auditors
•Policy related notes to be put to the committee
To be considered for this exciting role you will be educated to a degree level with extensive experience in the financial services sector. You will have knowledge of the Indian Corporate Sector as well as having strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
