The Company
Robert Half International are currently looking to recruit for an interim Financial Controller to work for a progressive company in the South West.The Role
Prepare, monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget. Direct and coordinate site financial planning and budget management functions. Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of the site and departments. Provide information to meet the needs of the Directors, Managers and departments of both sites and group and assist in the enquiry into means of productivity and profitability improvement.Prepare timely and detailed cash forecasts on a weekly/monthly and quarterly basis for inclusion into group forecasting requirements.Oversee daily operations of the finance department.Manage the preparation of the site financial forecasts. Prepare financial analysis for fixed asset investment decisions.Advise on Vat and other taxation issues Assist in the development of manual and computer systems as required.Ensure compliance with all Government reporting requirements. Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives. Advise and liaise on issues relative to site and group financial issues. Direct all financial audits at site level and provide recommendations for procedural improvements. To be considered you will have strong interpersonal skills, have the ability to deal with non finance staff, along with Manufacturing experience.Salary & Benefits
