SAS ANALYST ROLE OVERVIEW:

SAS Insight Analyst required to join the CRM division of leading Direct Marketing Agency, based in London. Working with a skilled team of SAS Marketing Analysts, Data Planners and Consultants, you will be given the opportunity to develop your SAS Analysis and Statistical Modelling skills by working on a diverse range of Insight and Marketing Analysis projects. Working with large datasets and customer driven data from clients in sectors such as Retail, Utilities, Charity, Telecoms etc your role will grow to include; data analysis and statistical modelling; such as CHAID, Propensity Modelling, Regression, Clustering, Customer Segmentations & Profiling etc, Analysing data to improve Direct Mail Campaigns & Customer Targeting. You will interpret SAS data and relaying analytical findings for strategic purposes. This role will offer you exceptional career development and training opportunities in SAS and Direct Marketing

THE PERSON:

This role will be well suited to a candidate with some commercial experience in an analytical role, working with SAS and data analysis. You will be eager to learn more about statistical modelling, insight / direct marketing and will want to further your career towards a hands on analytical role with consultative / strategic elements. Your skills will include:

- SAS analysis skills in a commercial environment. SAS Base, SAS Macro and building models would be beneficial, however not essential
- Knowledge / experience of at least 1 of the following: Direct Mail Campaign Analysis, Customer Profiling and Segmentation, CHAID, Cross-Sell or Propensity Modelling, Multivariate Analysis techniques e.g. cluster Analysis, Regression etc, Marketing / Insight Analysis
- Solid academic background in a relevant subject, such as Maths, Statistics, Economics, Operational Research etc
- Solid communication skills and the ability to relay analytical findings to non technical audiences
