My client is a top investment bank. They are looking to add a VP level DCM originator to their sub-Saharan Africa DCM origination team based on the ground in Lagos.



As a VP in the group you will be joining one of the strongest emerging markets platforms with a strong presence throughout both Africa and Europe. You will be required to be the senior originator and executer for sub-Saharan Africa, and the main focus of the role will be:

Managing existing client relationships as well as sourcing new opportunities for business
Lead the marketing effort to initiate new relationships and develop DCM capabilities in Nigeria
Execute documentation and place deals with investors
Execute local and foreign currency transactions for Nigerian corporates
The successful profile will:

Have at least senior associate level DCM/derivatives origination experience – preferably in Africa
Ideally have existing clients in the region – although not necessary
Ability to originate and execute transactions to be reflected in experience.
